The haberdashery section is probably the largest for many miles, and includes over 50 different types of needles both for hand sewing and machine, together with a range of machine accessory including bobbins, oils, belts, and bulbs.


Needle threaders, poppers from tiny dolls size to heavy duty caravan size, hooks and eyes, including fur hooks, frogs – both fabric and metal, cord ends, zip pulls, swivel hooks, belt clips, magic buttons, magnetic buttons, bag handles and clothes brushes.

Suspenders, bra extenders, collar extenders, cover buttons, shoulder pads, dress shields, a huge range of scissors – all shapes and sizes, vilenes, dressmakers carbon paper, tracing paper, and even shoe laces!
Safety pins, garment labels, buckles, cummerbund buckles, bow tie clips, strap tidies, pom-pom makers and French knitters.





We have a large range of tassells, cords and trims.

Our ribbon section is our pride and joy, with over 2000 reels of assorted ribbons. Probably the biggest range in the South of England, if not further. Fancy ribbons, feather edge, gold and silver braids, Christmas ribbons, gros grain, checks, tartans, stripes, florals, velvet, hearts, teddies, mini ric rac, printed ribbons, sheers, craft ribbons, polyester, wedding car ribbon and blanket binding. Then we have a large range of plastic beading on the roll, including flat back pearls, coins and drops. Amazing colours of crystals by the metre, and a large range of sequins either packeted or by the metre together with stretch sequins and sequin waste.
